History
The Dialectic Forum traces its beginnings to April 2016, when it was established as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1950, in Maharashtra as The English Literator Society. In 2023, the organisation was renamed and registered as The Dialectic Forum, reflecting its broader academic interests and its commitment to dialogue across disciplines.
Today, the Forum brings together academics, researchers, and scholars interested in literature, philosophy, culture, and related areas of the humanities.
Philosophy
The Dialectic Forum believes that knowledge grows through dialogue, questioning, and the exchange of ideas. It seeks to create an academic space where different perspectives can meet, ideas can be examined critically, and meaningful conversations can lead to new understanding.
Vision
To build a vibrant academic community that encourages thoughtful dialogue, supports research, and promotes meaningful engagement with literature, philosophy, culture, and the wider humanities.
Mission
The Dialectic Forum provides a space where ideas meet dialogue, exploring literature, philosophy, and culture through thoughtful conversations. Through research, publications, academic events, courses, and scholarly exchange, the Forum aims to connect academics and researchers and encourage sustained intellectual engagement.
